The Estimate Builder helps to assess, plan out, and track jobs and projects. It includes tools for calculating equipment, materials, labor, and other overhead costs as well as percentage or flat-rate markups. Users can also run reports to track estimated vs actual times of completion and final cost to assess accuracy and profitability.

  • Can I use one of these systems without Microsoft Office?

    • Yes! Microsoft provides a free version of Microsoft Access which is fully capable of running any of our freeware systems. It can be downloaded here.

  • The system is asking me for login information, what do I type in for the username and password?

    • Some of our freeware systems are come with an extra layer of built-in security and require users to login to the system. Once you’ve installed them and started setting things up, you’ll be able to customize the login credentials for each user from within the program, but for a freshly downloaded system the default username and password are admin and admin.

  • How do I install the system?

    • Our systems are provided as Microsoft Access files downloaded in compressed .zip folders. Once you’ve downloaded the folder, simply open it, copy the database file, and paste it onto your desktop. You can then double-click on the file itself to open it using MS Access.
